Standing Rules of the Western Church Planting Network

Addresses the purpose of WCPN, the network structure and operation, role of the Executive Committee, staff, finances, presbytery oversight, and other issues surrounding the network.

Approach to Church Planting

Provides the theological-missiological rationale for new churches, the priority of the centrality of the gospel, perspective on contextualization, the priority of sites, and implications of all of this for WCPN policy.

The Reasons for a Multi-Presbytery Network

Addresses questions and possible objections for a network encompassing (a) the large geography of the West and (b) churches from multiple presbyteries by outlining (1) the value of the network for the Western context, (2) possible advantages over other structures to support church planting, and (3) ways WCPN seeks to overcome the challenges inherent in the scope of a large regional network.
